RSPB family members help us do more

More species saved. More wild places restored. More memories made.

RSPB family members help us protect more wildlife and wild places. With your support, we can restore more habitats, save more species and help to combat the impacts of climate change for both wildlife and people. When families like yours join the RSPB, together we can:

Protect the wildlife that needs us most

We successfully campaigned for the closure of sandeel fisheries in all Scottish waters, and English waters of the North Sea – a historic win for Puffins and other struggling seabirds that rely on them for food.

Bring threatened species back from the brink

Together with partners, we've helped vulnerable birds like the Turtle Dove bounce back. Following a decline of 99%, the species has recovered by 40%, showing what’s possible when people come together for nature.

Inspire the next generation of nature lovers

We're helping more children discover the joy of nature through school visits, outdoor learning and free educational resources that inspire the conservationists of tomorrow.

"Dear RSPB, I’ve been visiting your reserves alongside my family for years and have a membership that we frequently use. As a family, we have become avid birdwatchers and are more engaged with our local nature than ever before. Whether making the crafts as a kid, reading the information or collecting new facts to share with people I've always enjoyed the magazines." - Imogen

There’s nowhere quite like the RSPB

  • Together, we're standing up for the birds and other wildlife that need us most.
  • Together, we're protecting more than 170 nature reserves across the UK, giving wildlife the space it needs to recover.
  • Together, we're caring for places where more than 18,500 species can thrive – and where your family can make memories that last a lifetime.
"We bought an RSPB family membership for our daughter and her children, and it's been such a lovely gift. They spend more time outdoors together, the grandchildren love spotting birds and wildlife, and it's wonderful knowing we're helping protect nature for their future too." - David
