Sunset over heathland at RSPB Arne nature reserve

Reserves & events

Our reserves are vital havens for a huge range of species, and special spaces for us all to get closer to nature.

From marshes and heathland to estuaries and cliffs, there is a diverse network of reserves all over the UK. They're a chance for focused conservation work and for you to connect with wildlife, take part in fantastic events and enjoy the great outdoors.

Covid-19

Bluebells

Following government advice and to keep everyone safe, we've taken the difficult decision to cancel all events until the end of July.

We are taking a phased approach to opening our reserves and are working hard to make our nature reserves safe and ready for our staff, visitors and wildlife. Although most of our sites with visitor facilities are currently closed, we have started opening those where is it safe and practical to do so. Please see our COVID-19 updates page for the latest information.
