Sunset over heathland at RSPB Arne nature reserve

Reserves & events

Our reserves are vital havens for a huge range of species, and special spaces for us all to get closer to nature.

From marshes and heathland to estuaries and cliffs, there is a diverse network of reserves all over the UK. They're a chance for focused conservation work and for you to connect with wildlife, take part in fantastic events and enjoy the great outdoors.

Covid-19

Bluebells

We've put a lot of time and thought into how we can offer our events and experiences in the safest ways possible. Following guidelines, some of our reserves are able to offer events from 1 October. However, before booking, please see our Covid Events page for more information about what to expect and the changes we've made to keep you safe on your visit.

We are taking a phased approach to opening our reserves. Please check which reserves are currently open before you visit to avoid disappointment. Please note that facilities such as visitor centres, cafes and shops may not be available.
