How to identify

The Short-toed Treecreeper is a small tree-dwelling bird with a thin, downcurved bill. It's speckly brown on top and mostly white underneath. While it looks very similar to a Treecreeper, their songs set them apart. It breeds in the Channel Islands and France. It's well outside its breeding range in the UK.
