An exciting new site will offer extensive natural greenspace and a sanctuary for residents and visitors.
Coming soon – a new destination. In time, Kingsbrook Meadows will burst with nature, adventure, and inspiration. Check back and follow our progress over the next few years.
For now, Kingsbrook Meadows is a construction site. Keep up to date with all the news and progress at the RSPB Kingsbrook Meadows Facebook page.
Set beside the award‑winning Kingsbrook development, where the RSPB and Barratt Redrow are working together to create wildlife‑friendly housing, the new 100‑hectare Kingsbrook Meadows visitor site will become a place to visit that’s bursting with nature, adventure, and inspiration.
Small sections of the site will open in 2026 and 2027, before the full site and main visitor facilities open in 2028. By 2028, visitors will be able to wander through new meadows and young woodlands, discovering pools and ponds, before stopping at the visitor centre and café with views towards the Chilterns.
Kingsbrook Meadows will also offer an RSPB shop, fully accessible Changing Places Toilets (CPT), and a huge wild play area for families looking to explore. Inspiring demonstration gardens will showcase wildlife‑friendly ideas you can take home, year‑round events will bring the site to life, and quiet corners will offer peaceful spaces to pause.
