There is one bench on the trail.
A variety of birds can be seen from the trails or from almost anywhere on the road which goes round the island.
One nature trail, 3 miles (4.7km) long, leads the way to spectacular views from the tops of Knitchen Hill and Blotchnie Fiold. The path is rough and steep in places, and is waymarked with white-topped posts.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.

There is no cafe or shop here, the nearest place for food and drinks is at the pier, 0.75 miles (1.2km) from the reserve entrance.. We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.
Restrictions
RSPB Scotland welcomes responsible access, in line with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. During the ground-nesting bird breeding season (1 April to 15 August) and in areas with livestock, we would ask that you keep your dog on a short lead and clean up after them.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of the reserve.
