Get help logging into your online account with our FAQs.

I’m a member why don’t I have an account?

When you become a member, we don’t automatically give you a website account. But registering for one is quick and easy, just fill in the form here: https://www.rspb.org.uk/account/register

I’ve logged in, but it just takes me back to the login page

We are aware that there are some intermittent issues with logging into the website.

 

We are currently investigating this problem, but because this issue is not affecting everyone and our supporters are having slightly different issues and using different browsers etc, we are having difficulty resolving it as quickly as we'd like.

 

There are some things that other supporters have found worked, and while this is not ideal, this might help you complete your task:

 

> If you are using Internet Explorer to browse the website, try using Google Chrome or another browser type

> Try resetting your password as sometimes this can resolve the problem

 

If none of these options help and you need to update your personal details or contact preferences you can always call our Supporter Services Team on 01767693680

I can’t register/submit results for Big Garden Birdwatch from my account

Please register/submit your results via the main page and bypass the account log-in request.

Apologies you're experiencing this issue - it seems to be affecting a very small number of people but we’re struggling to replicate the issue.

I need help with Big Garden Birdwatch

Results submission is open until the 17 February 2019. This year, we have a fully digital journey, however you can still download the essential documents once you've signed in/started your submission journey.

 

If you can't get onto the site over the big weekend, or if it's running slowly, it would be brilliant if you could come back to tell us what you’ve seen later - even if your usual visitors didn’t turn up.

The link doesn't work in my verification email

We are aware that a small number of supporters are currently receiving a broken verification link when setting up an account with us.

I can’t log in to my shopping account

If you are unable to access your online shopping account please email shopping@rspb.org.uk. Your shopping account will be separate from your main site account.

I can’t remember my password/It won’t accept my password

To reset your password, simply tell us your email address here: https://www.rspb.org.uk/account/requestreset

I need a new email verification sent out/I don’t know if I have an account

To get a new email sent out, the easiest way is to simply use the reset password link:

https://www.rspb.org.uk/account/requestreset

 

This will also help you find out if you already have an account with us.

 

Once you’ve done this you will receive an email, either letting you reset your password or informing you that there is no account registered under your email address.

We understand this can be a bit confusing for our supporters and we are working on developing a new system where only one account is needed for all of the areas of our website. Please bear with us in the meantime.

I’m locked out of my account

We’re sorry you’ve had issues logging in to your account. If you’re locked out of your account, it will automatically unlock after 15 minutes so please pop the kettle on, make a brew and try again later.

I want to update my email address

You can update your email address from your profile page.

 

Once you log in, on your profile page you can update your email address under the personal details tab: https://www.rspb.org.uk/profile/personal-details/
