Nature's calendar: December
It might be chilly, but we’ve got six nature highlights that are sure to tempt you outside this month.
Since our first collectable pin badges were issued over 20 years ago they have proved very popular with collectors of all ages around the world.
Since our first four designs were issued in 1997, RSPB pin badges have attracted a worldwide group of dedicated collectors of all ages. We continue to add more new designs and special editions of a growing range of UK plants and animals, from birds, badgers, beetles and butterflies to fish and fungi. Each pin badge is designed to reflect the beauty of the species, as well as raise funds to support our conservation work.
Our most popular designs have been produced in hundreds of thousands over the years – Robins, Hedgehogs, Puffins and Kingfishers, for example – while some are only produced once as a very limited special edition for one of our campaigns or reserves.
Our pin badges are available for a donation at many RSPB nature reserves, through our membership team and in select host locations across the UK.
We always love to see where and how you support us with your RSPB pin badges, so please #sharehowyouwear your #RSPBpins with us on your social media.
If you would like to add to or complete your collection online, browse our eBay shop, where we list many designs and editions both old and new. Pins are offered at a fixed price including postage and packing and we also auction some exceptionally rare badges. We list new stock regularly, so please set up a seller alert to ensure you don’t miss our latest listings of new and collectable items.
Our eBay shop is the only official RSPB seller and all profits from our sales fund our conservation work.
You can find images of all of our pin badge designs here.
We order seasonal stock that includes our most popular, seasonally relevant and new badge designs. Our limited edition reserve badges are available on release via eBay or for personal visitors to the relevant RSPB sites.
We will always do our best to help our pin badge collectors, but our RSPB offices and reserves are not able to help with individual mail pin badge purchases. All our available stock will be listed on eBay and a changing range of pins will be available at each reserve or pin badge box location.
If you have a specific enquiry, please email the Community Fundraising team and we will do our best to help you.
If you would like a large number of pin badges of an individual species, or a selection of badges for your special event, school, organisation or company, please get in touch with us.
Please note that we will need significant advance notice if you would like to bulk order single species pin badges, as our orders have a very long lead time. Our minimum bulk orders for single species will range from 100 to 2,000 items, dependent on the other badges we are ordering and the stock we already have.
If you would like to make a bulk order, please email us as soon as possible so we can discuss your requirements.
