RSPB Conservation Data Supply Charging Policy

Charges are based on the area searched:

  • Area: < = 100 km2 
    Charge: £200

 

  • Area: > 100 km2 < 1,000 km2  
    Charge: £400

 

  • Area: < = 1,000 km2 
    Charge: £800

 

There are additional conditions:

  • Condition: Zero records or all Open records returned
    Price change: Total cost reduced to £75
  • Condition: More than 10 years of data requested (not including the current year)
    Price change: Additional £75
  • Condition: Alterations made to request after submission
    Price change: Additional £75

 

Further information about data request charges

All charges are subject to VAT.

These charges will be waived if the data are to be used for:  

  • Partner conservation outcomes 

  • Academic research 

  • Non-commercial outcomes
