We're operating with a staffed, outdoor welcome point daily, where our friendly staff and volunteers are on hand to help.
The visitor centre is a light, airy and informative space, where you can gain information about the cliffs and seabirds that visit here. The centre is situated in open grasslands overlooking the stunning cliffs and with outstanding views of the meadows beyond.
- Card payments preferred.
- Dogs on leads are welcome in the visitor centre in order to access the dog-friendly trail across the reserve.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
The level walk to the cliff top and from Grandstand viewpoint to Bartlett Nab viewpoint makes Bempton Cliffs the perfect place for a stroll in nature with a pushchair. You and the little ones can spot gannets and gulls on the cliffs, whilst looking at the stunning views across the reserve and sea, taking in the fresh air as you go.
Our trails are open daily.
- The Cliff Top Trail is 2 miles long. Allow around 1 ½ hours to complete this trail. The route takes you through cliff top habitats and includes 6 viewpoints overlooking the North Sea and 400ft cliffs.
- The Nature Trail is 0.5 miles long. Allow around 15 minutes to complete this trail. The route takes you through scrub and grassland habitats of the reserve and includes great opportunities to spot the smaller birds.
- We have a Public Right of Way across the site to and along the cliff top.
