Nature can’t vote – but you can. Here’s your chance to speak up for wildlife in Wales.

From rugged mountains to wild coastlines, Wales really is a wonderful place to be. But our natural world is in crisis. Nature needs you to take action. We need to ensure Welsh wildlife has a voice at the next Senedd election on 7 May 2026.
We need our natural world to recover as much as our wildlife does. It gives us the clean air we breathe, the water we drink, and the healthy soils to help grow nutritious food. In our manifesto, RSPB Cymru’s Priorities for Nature in Wales, we set out what we think needs to happen to protect our precious habitats and drive nature’s recovery at scale.

Nature’s in crisis, but there’s always hope. Wales is committed to halting the loss of our wildlife and protecting and managing 30% of our land and seas for nature by 2030. That’s at the end of this Senedd term. The decisions made by the next Welsh Government will ultimately decide if we meet these game-changing targets.
On 12 March we sent the political parties listed below the following question and asked them to respond to us with a 500 word answer, in Welsh and English by Friday 30 April.
