Our bright and spacious cafe, on the first floor of our visitor centre, offers fantastic views over Loch Leven.
We have a large viewing area with telescopes so visitors can watch the wildlife, as well as enjoying some delicious food! We serve a selection of tasty home-made meals, as well as cakes and bakes, ice-cream, and hot and cold drinks.
We take pride in using organic, Fairtrade and local produce whenever possible and we hold a gold Green Tourism award. We serve our own exclusive coffee that is grown, imported and roasted by us. It's Fairtrade, organic and certified bird-friendly by the Smithsonian Institute, so now you can help save nature simply by enjoying a great cup of coffee!
In June 2014 our cafe was awarded the Gold Food for Life Catering Mark by the Soil Association, in recognition of our commitment to providing fresh food our customers can trust. Our dishes are freshly prepared, include seasonal and local ingredients and are free from trans-fats and other nasty additives. We use many organic ingredients (including all our eggs and bacon) and all our meat can be traced back to the farm. Our cafe is fully accessible and children are very welcome. We are situated just off Junction 5 of the M90, so if you are travelling in Scotland, why not take a break with us and enjoy delicious food and great scenery at our friendly reserve!
Opening hours

Highlights from our menu
- Homemade paninis (our chef's own recipe) with a variety of delicious fillings, including organic Scottish bacon, or homemade houmous and chilli sauce
- Warming, seasonal home-made soup of the day served with chunky bread, perfect after a bracing walk
- Scones, freshly baked every morning using organic ingredients. Extremely yummy with butter and jam. They are very popular, so get in quick!
- Baked potatoes served with a variety of tasty fillings. A firm favourite with our customers is haggis with Scottish brie and cranberry sauce (we can make it with vegetarian haggis too)
- Outstanding coffee, including cappuccinos, lattes and espressos, all freshly brewed on-site.
Superb cafe! Don’t lose your chef! Soup and flatbreads excellent.
