Visitor centre
  • The Welcome Building is currently open at weekends between 10am - 4pm.
  • Open on weekdays when volunteers are available.
Car park
  • 1 October - 31 January, 5am - 6.30pm
  • 1 February - 31 March, 5am - 8pm
  • 1 April - 30 September, 5am - 10pm
  • 120 spaces
  • 2 Blue Badge spaces
  • Blue badge spaces available within the reserve close to viewing platforms and viewing facilities - accessed with a RADAR key which can be borrowed from the Welcome Building.
  • No lighting.
  • Drop off at roadside (no kerb).
  • No overnight parking.
  • No height restrictions.
  • An alternative car park operated by Natural England is available outside of the Ham Wall car park opening times.

Refreshments
  • Although there is no formal cafe facility, there are light refreshments including hot drinks, bottled water, and a limited selection of pre-packed snacks available in The Welcome Building.
  • Nearest establishment serving hot meals is The Railway Inn, opposite the reserve car park. Other establishments serving hot meals can be found in the local villages.
