Coming together to demand action for nature in Wales
Hundreds of people will gather in Cardiff this September, in a huge show of support for urgent action to tackle the nature and climate crisis. We’d love to see you there too.

The Act Now, Change Forever mass lobby is coming to the Senedd on Wednesday 17 September. We’re joining forces with Climate Cymru and many other organisations and individuals from across Wales to plan the event. Organisers will help schedule meetings with MSs throughout the day, enabling participants to raise the issues most important to them, with their elected representatives.
What do you need to do?
We’re asking you, our supporters, to register now and bring your personal stories about disappearing birdsong, cherished green spaces and local developments to discuss with your MS, showing first-hand the range and level of urgency required to tackle the issues affecting nature across Wales.
During the event, you will be encouraged to speak out and ‘ruffle some feathers’, adding your message of hope for the future for our wildlife and wild spaces to our ‘wings of hope’ installation. Other activities throughout the day will include wildlife walks, creative workshops and talks from experts.
The Wales mass lobby follows the success of a similar event which saw thousands of people meet with their MPs in Westminster in July (see photo), calling for the urgent action needed to tackle the nature and climate emergency.
Your voices matter
We firmly believe your voices are essential right now. Welsh government is considering critical decisions around farming, nature, climate and community, and there’s a Senedd election on the horizon. We’re inviting you to join us, to meet with your MSs and talk about the things that matter to you most.
You don’t need to be an expert. If you care about the future – about wildlife, green jobs, renewable energy or your community – your voice matters. It might sound daunting, but everything you need to feel confident and prepared to talk to your MS, individually or in a group, will be provided before the event.
We’re encouraging people from across Wales to take part, with possible funding available for those who need it most, to help cover travel costs to Cardiff.
