As well as planting a tree, you can also leave a message and share memories and photos of happy times at Lake Vyrnwy on our dedication page.
Celebrate the memory of a loved one, or a special occasion by planting a tree at Vyrnwy Forever. Planting a native tree will help us look after the wonderful habitats and species at Lake Vyrnwy too.
The cost is £950. This includes a single tree along the scenic route to the Rhiwargor Waterfall, a dedicated post and rail enclosure, a Welsh slate tag affixed to the tree, and a Welsh slate tag keepsake.
The tree is guaranteed for 10 years, which includes annual checks, weeding, and replacement if necessary.
You’re welcome to attend your tree planting, if this is something that appeals to you.
For more information and to discuss which memorial tree is right for you, contact Anya Hickman: [email protected]
Anya will help you find the tree you would like, and discuss the tree-planting arrangements with you.
The Lake Vyrnwy Celebration Wood is located near the scenic route to Rhiwargor Waterfall in the heart of the Berwyn Mountains. As well as being a haven for wildlife, this peaceful reservoir holds special connections for many.
In addition to celebrating a life or occasion, planting trees here contributes to restoring habitats, saving species and helping the future of the climate at Lake Vyrnwy.
It offers an opportunity for you to become part of a lasting environmental legacy, and develop a special connection with this picturesque landscape.
Choose from one of our collection of beautiful native trees. These include Crab Apple, Downy Birch, Hawthorn, Hornbeam, Large-leaved Lime, Sessile Oak and Wild Cherry. We will help you to choose the right tree for your location.
Your Welsh slate tag will be affixed to the tree fencing, along with your personalised message. In addition, you’ll receive your own Welsh slate keepsake, with the tree’s unique grid reference.
As well as planting a tree, you can also leave a message and share memories and photos of happy times at Lake Vyrnwy on our dedication page.
