How the RSPB is run
The RSPB is a charity, founded in 1889 and run by a Council of volunteers.
The RSPB is a non-statutory body incorporated by Royal Charter. The Charter was originally granted in 1904 and, together with the Statutes, provides the rules and guidelines under which the RSPB operates. We endeavour to manage our affairs efficiently and transparently.
Our RSPB President
History and wildlife presenter Miranda Krestovnikoff is our President. She was elected by RSPB members in October 2013.
