Where to go birding

We’re delighted that Sam took Ade to RSPB Hayle Estuary nature reserve in Cornwall, as well as RSPB Ham Wall in Somerset. Our nature reserves are some of the best places to see birds and other wildlife, including birds such as the booming Bitterns and charming Choughs that feature on the show.

But don’t worry if these locations are beyond your reach. We have a network of fantastic reserves all over the UK, so no matter where you’re based, there’s a place waiting for you to go birding.

Can’t wait to Get Birding?

With spring rapidly unfurling, nature is in party season! Birdsong is steadily building, getting earlier and stronger each day as birds belt out a tune to mark their territories and attract a mate. It’s all building to a mighty crescendo as we head closer to Dawn Chorus Day on Sunday 3 May.
